Irvine, California - April 2008 If you've never been to the renowned
Teddy
Bear & Doll Weekend, now is the time to make your reservation.
Come and see Harry and Hannah Herrington, the well-known storybook
twin bear cubs from The Herrington Teddy Bear Company. Harry and
Hannah have quite a surprise in store for you as they enjoy their
Walt Disney World® experience. The 2008 Teddy Bear & Doll
Weekend takes place during the 15th Annual Epcot® International
Flower & Garden Festival at The Walt Disney World® Resort.
Meet more more than 30 artists and get in on the biggest scoop of
the year at The Herrington Teddy Bear Company.
This show is the perfect pre-summer vacation destination for teddy
bear and doll lovers from around the world. The event takes place
May 16th to the 18th. "Harry
& Hannah's Walt Disney Adventure" will be available
for purchase at the show and only 150 sets were made! Each set retails
for $70.
The Herrington Teddy Bear Company is known for their signature peek-a-boo
designs, and Harry and Hannah are in disguise this year. At first
glance you will see a classic 10-inch Minnie and Mickey Mouse, but
underneath that detailed costume hides the bear cubs. These cute
little honey-colored plush teddy bears are just beneath the removable
Mickey and Minnie Mouse heads.
A one-of-a-kind 18-inch, mirror image of "Harry
& Hannah's Walt Disney Adventure" 10-inch set, will
be up for live auction at Saturday night's banquet dinner on May
17th. If you are unable to attend the event, you can still attend
the auction online during the event.
Fans of Harry and Hannah won't want to miss out on this opportunity
to enhance your collection with this classic Disney set. Additional
Harry and Hannah merchandise also will be available for purchase.
If you missed last year's show, there might even be a few sets of
Harry & Hannah's Pirate Adventure 2007 still available for purchase
at the show.
"This year marks our third year at The Walt Disney World®
Resort for the Teddy Bear & Doll Weekend," said Chris Herrington.
"We created a lot of excitement in the past couple of years
and we are honored to be invited back to take part in this great
show. This year's set is very classic and time-honored for Disney®."
