Coolest of All Hard Rock Bearas Irvine, California - March 2007 The Herrington Teddy Bear Company has been making signature teddy bears for Hard Rock for more than 20 years. Each time a bear is created; there is a significant relationship between the style of bear and Hard Rock. Herrington's latest creation has gone over the top. The new Hard Rock Cafe Punk Beara, due out in June, epitomizes what Hard Rock is all about. The initial response has been overwhelmingly positive. "We wanted to capture a look that really says 'Hard Rock,'" explains Cecilia Gustavsson, The Herrington Teddy Bear Company's Vice President of Sales for National Accounts. "When it comes to the cool factor, this one tops the charts." Picture this, an 8-inch beanbag-style, caramel-colored teddy bear donning a chocolate brown pleathor vest stamped with an ultra-cool Hard Rock logo on the back. The teddy has a barbed wire tattoo on his right upper bicep and a flaming HRC heart tattoo on his left arm. He wears a single silver hoop earring in his right earlobe and the "coup de grace" of it all is that down the center of his scalp is a prominent colored mohawk. Not only are there five color styles to choose from but you can't keep your hands from constantly rubbing the colored mohawk because it is so incredibly soft to the touch. Perhaps rubbing it brings good luck. The new Hard Rock Cafe Punk Beara is without question, this year's quintessential Hard Rock bear. Mohawk color choices include red, green, yellow, purple or aqua. There is also a very limited edition black mohawk Punk Beara that was only given out at the Hard Rock Cafe Leadership Conference this month. The new Hard Rock Cafe Punk Beara will be available in June at all Hard Rock Cafes around the world. The location of the Hard Rock and the Hard Rock log is embroidered on the front of each beara.
